The kinda place I would I could get to more often. Simply amazing. Great services, great food. The kind of menu that I have a hard time choosing what to order...it all looks so good. If you are a big breakfast/brunch fan like myself, this is a must while visiting or in panama city. Do not miss out on this place. I highly suggest the baked brie delight There will be a wait, and it might be long---trust me it is worth it.

Over the course of about a half-dozen breakfasts here, everything has been excellent. Decide to splurge on breakfast and enjoy.

Gave 4 stars for the good food but we didn't have a good service experience. I'm hopeful it was a fluke. Somehow our orders didn't make it in but our children's did. Needless to say we waited an hour for food and watched 7 other tables who came in after us get their food and pay. However the food was delicious and they seem to do a good steady business. Our waiter just kept apologizing but it took the hubby to complain to the manager to get things moving. I would give them a try again next visit.

I was excited to try Another Broken Egg after reading the great reviews, but I concluded after my visit that what they do best is presentation. My Eggs Blackstone (a signature skillet of eggs benedict except tomatoes instead of ham) was disappointing in two major features: the "poached" egg was nearer to hard-boiled, not the slightest bit runny, and the hollandaise sauce was nearly tasteless. You could tell by its consistency that it was not made in house, but from a jar or can, as well as lacking flavor. Second disappointment is that the home fries were not prepared in a skillet, but in a deep fat fryer. Last but not least (especially when paying the relatively higher prices here), the coffee was extremely mediocre. To end on a positive note, my husband's french toast meal both looked and tasted good.

We all enjoyed our breakfast. I truly loved the salmon beagle (not what it's actually called). We will prob come back next time we are in Panama City. Anyway check it out, and eat up.

Absolutely got it down to a creative science here. A favorite destination for my family and I each time we come. If I were a local, I would eat here at least weekly! Great service and better food!

We were visiting Panama City Beach and found this place on Yelp and decided to check it out. The Cafe is located off the beaten path in a strip mall. We were there on a Sunday and the place was packed; however, we were seated within 10-15 minutes. The menu is unique and included numerous variations on one of our favorite - Eggs Benedict. We started with Bloody Marys - spicy for me and not so much for my fiance (our server offered to substitute V8 for him, which was perfect). The drinks were perfectly balanced and garnished with pickled orka, carrot and celery. The fresh squeezed OJ was very refreshing! We couldn't resist starting with the Beignet Biscuits which were served hot and fresh with an orange honey dipping sauce. Our entrees followed immediately and we would have preferred to have it better timed, but ultimately not a big deal. I ordered the Crabcakes Cavallo, which was one of the Eggs Benedict variations. Two large crabcakes were served on English muffins topped with perfectly poached eggs and a hollandaise sauce. The sauce was heavy on the butter and not as creamy as a traditional hollandaise, but delicious nonetheless. The entree included a serving of potatoes, which were well seasoned. Portion size was huge and thankfully I had a hungry fiance to finish mine. My fiance ordered the Lobster et Fromage omelet which was heavy on the lobster and dressed in a light champagne cream sauce. The omelet was also served with potatoes and English muffin. Service was a little rushed, but overall good. The place was packed and they quickly turned over tables and we would have preferred a slower pace for brunch. We hope to fit in another visit before we leave - so many things we wanted to try on the menu!

Very cute place. Great atmosphere! Pretty good wait staff. I ordered the Hey Lucy omelet with a pancake on the side. The omelet was delicious! Plenty of cheese, lots of breakfast chorizo. The side of seasoned potatoes was mediocre, a bit dry. Pancake was good, but nothing spectacular. My partner ordered the cinnamon roll French toast. Aahhmazziiing! It was smothered in syrup, topped with sweetened strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and whip cream. Highly recommended!

This place is a must for anyone to eat here best thing is the alcohol with breakfast might I suggest ordering a coffee with a shot of espresso and some baileys , also my personal favorite is the Smoked salmon Benny that's TO DIE FOR! It consists of a bagel with whipped cream cheese a poached egg and smoked salmon with chives and capers. It's so good.

Good place to grab a breakfast, service is poor and inaccurate ...but it's better than WH, McD

    (3)
  • Jim G.

It was just like everyone else said Fantastic my son and I enjoyed everything. The shrimp and crawfish omelet was one of the best omelets I have ever had. The monster cinnamon roll was soft a gooey, loved it!

  • Al W.

Food was good but service was very slow. Our waitress forgot our coffee twice, we had to ask for utensils and dropped half of my food on the floor just before getting it to the table.

    (3)
  • Todd O.

Best shrimp and grits by far. Great Belgian waffles. Crab stack is fantastic. Absolutely the best place to get brunch. Jordan was our waitress and she's fantastic. Very very good service. You can't go wrong with ordering anything from this place.

  • Joe P.

Great selection for breakfast, lots of very good choices. Love their infused bloody marys. Love their benedicts, especially the smoked salmon benedict.

  • Sara H.

The service was excellent. We had Jennifer and she was wonderful! After breakfast we were driving back to New Orleans so she gave us to-go cups for our coffee! They also have a lot of vegetarian options.

  • Ed H.

They are located one road away from the beach in a strip mall. Typical breakfast hours 7-2. Service was very good, the temperature of the room was colder than expected. The prices are too high for breakfast. Mine was 12.99 for Huevos Ranchero. I did not order coffee due to the price of items. Water will be just fine thank you. Over 2.00 for a cup of Joe? No thanks. Food was Ok, but really expected more.

I'm always pleased with good service and good food. Today I experienced excellent food and even better service! Michelle is the BEST! The Supreme Omelet may just be the best omelet I have ever had. If you don't eat at Another Broken Egg Cafe when you come to PCB, you deprive yourself of a wonderful experience! Thank you, Michelle!

  • Ann P.

Clean environment. Great service. Outstanding foods. This location is very consistent with their foods. Never a mess up on my plate! I love their Benedict's especially the Oscar Benedict. They're simply delicious! I would always clean the plate. Lol the pancakes are HUGE so keep that in mind when ordering. I have no complaints on this place. Completely satisfied. :)

  • Dave C.

My eggs were broken! I ordered "over medium" and they came back with a thin layer of cooked egg white and then completely uncooked inside. The whites were still cold and raw. Disgusting. They took them back but when they came back out they still were still undercooked and I was disgusted from the raw egg that I didn't even want eggs anymore. The service was very slow and the prices were typical for a tourist trap. We went to McDonald's after...

Had a great breakfast everyone that went with us enjoyed there meal. The atmosphere was great and our server was over the top. A must while you are in PC.

You can't help but to love this place. Whether its your day off, your having Sunday Funday or your just hungry, this place has all of the above. Let's move aside the obvious (the awesome breakfast) and move onto the things that make me love this place. There is a full bar that has a huge flat panel right behind the bar tender. You can sit there to watch TV and eat your breakfast or simply to have a Grey Goose Bloody Mary or maybe even a Heiniken. If that doesn't make you fall in love with this place then the huge outside covered patio will. One huge thing that I look for in a place is the atmosphere and this defiantly hits the nail on the head. Sitting on the patio with a Sunday paper drinking a mimosa eating a Salmon Benny.... What a good start to a day off!

Great breakfast! My boyfriend got the Bacquezo and I got the Hey Lucy (added cream cheese) Super yummy and good service!

  • Nancy T.

Good sandwiches and salads. I would never have eaten there, but I had a coupon. It is very pricey. Can't believe I paid $10 for gravy and biscuits. I will eat there again, if I get another coupon, if not, I will probably never go back.

  • Richard G.

I don't know what's up with some of these negative reviews? However, this place is quite good. The portions are respectable and food quality was excellent! Prices are on point with IHOP but tasted much better. We ate on a Monday morning and the staff was courteous and professional. Enough said. Go eat there! Thanks Yelp for guiding me here!

    (5)
  • Arlene B.

Awesome but pricey! Cinnamon Roll French toast is out of this world! Great for the tourists but def not a PC local.

  • Lani W.

Fantastic breakfast this morning at Another Broken Egg, but the best part was our server, Mallori. She took it from a great breakfast to a fabulous one -- that's the difference a personable, attentive, cheerful server can make, and we appreciated it. (The biscuit beignets were pretty darned over-the-top too!)

    (5)
  • James R.

For anyone staying at Panama City beach for spring break, this is the BEST place to go for breakfast. Skip Waffle House and make the 5 minute drive here. You won't regret it.

  • Lady G.

Went around 11am on a Friday, so it wasn't busy. Fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed. Hardest thing was deciding what to eat. I wanted like eight things on the menu. I ended up with Eggs Blackstone (Eggs Benedict with a twist) OMG. You will not be disappointed. TIP: They don't ask how you want your eggs, so if you want over easy or hard, let them know. Beignets were OK, just not as soft as I'm used to.

    (5)
  • Melissa L.

We are locals here and this is a place that we eat breakfast often. The omelets are some of the best I've ever had. My husband always gets a burger and he loves him, and he's rather picky. The french toast is incredible as well. They have great portions for the price and you won't leave hungry at all. The staff is always very friendly, and we always feel very appreciated that we chose them. They are always super friendly to our young kids, which is a huge plus too. Also, if you get Brittney for your server, she's the greatest. :)

    (5)
  • Julie S.

This little place was great, I am giving them only 4 stars because the prices are, IMHO, high for breakfast. Hubster loved the Crab Benedict and my parent's plates were over flowing with bacon-y, pancake-y goodness. I had the kids grilled ham sandwich, just the perfect size and the ham was fabulous.

I stay away from chains and mini chains whenever possible...but the one place besides fast food I'll make an exception is for breakfast. After all, what are we without Cracker Barrel and Waffle House? Never even knew this place has a location in Atlanta....this beach location was right in the same complex as the place we were staying so it was convenient. Everything was very good. Great waffles....crispy outside, had some chew inside, good flavor. Bacon was done perfectly....fresh fruit....whatever the heck my wife got was filled with fresh ingredients. The only part of the meal that was subpar was the hash browns. Not very good. Since the Grand Panama has become a go-to condo for us...we'll definitely be back here.

I was in Panama City Beach last week on an overnight stay. I had a late morning flight out of the nearby airport, so logged into Yelp to find a breakfast spot on the way to the airport. Another Broken Egg Cafe had great reviews so I thought I would try it. I programmed the address into the Google Maps navigation app and off I went. Big mistake. Google thinks it is about 1/3 of a mile further west than its actual location, but I finally found the Cafe. It is tastefully decorated, with sconces with a broken egg motif, and fancy coffee mugs with their Cafe's name on them. It was cute enough that I took pictures to show my wife (and which I'll post here soon). I was delighted by the large selection of my favorite breakfast dish -- Eggs Benedict. I chose the Eggs Sardou which consisted on a perfectly toasted brioche topped with fresh, lightly sauteed spinach leaves, capped with an artichoke heart which formed a cup for a perfectly soft-poached egg. This was all topped by Hollandaise sauce. I have never had this particular variant of Eggs Benedict, and it was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly and the produce was fresh. It also came with potatoes nuggets, not hash browns. The coffee was good, and most importantly, the wait staff attentive and made sure the cup was kept filled. They even offered to make me a cup of coffee to go. If I travel back through Panama City Beach, I will definitely stop back at this charming place.

Very classy dishes for breakfast. Nice location, not to many people in the parking lot. They have very good and fresh dishes. It's a bit expensive but different enough to charge the price they do. Good place to have a private, elegant style breakfast in the morning.

  • Trace B.

Shrimp and grits were off the chain. Stan #1 was great. Service was very good. Price was acceptable but kept me from adding the fifth star. Of course, any cheaper and there would have been a wait:)

  • Beverly E.

Creative egg-concoctions!!! Can really tell the quality ingredients-- Real whipped butter, Fresh veggies! Fluffy omelette!! Creamiest grits ever!!! Pricey-- but lots of great food--two meals in one! Consider the split plate option if u r a light eater!

  • David D.

Very good eggs bene and french toast

  • Robbin S.

"Brittney B welcomed us as we sat down in the cafe. She explained to us that the menu contains foods that are prepared fresh daily and made to order. We were not dissappointed when we got our meal. It was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be back. We ordered the breakfast eggs, crispy bacon, and cheese grits (a first for my husband). The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was thick and flavorful, and the cheese grits were out of this world. They use cream to improve the texture and just the right amount of cheese. We even bought a bottle of their homemade Pepper Sauce! The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and we highly recommend this cafe to all who are in Panama City!!" Robbin and Spencer F

All the hype for nothing. Food was average. My tea cup smells nasty. Waitress was okay. Overall, not on my list to pay another visit.

  • Leo B.

The rest of the reviewers have described this place quite well. The food is very high quality, and the breakfast menu provides a lot of choices. There is something for everyone. The place is clean, with fast, friendly service. The only thing keeping it from being 5 star for me are the prices. It's fine for once while on vacation, but just high enough you wouldn't want to go every day.

    (4)
  • Ian N.

Might be one the best breakfasts I've ever had. So many great options and the place had a fantastic, breezy atmosphere. The best omelette is the Baquezo which includes chorizo, cheese and a touch of sour cream inside. It sounds a little weird but I promise it's wonderful. They need some of these on the West Coast because they would make a killing.

    (5)
  • Seb R.

I had a sweet potato pancake and the Floridian omelette. Both were delicious.

    (4)
  • Darlene T.

The food is great and so are the Bloody Marys. One suggestions please add olives, not complete without them.

    (4)
  • Arthur H.

A clean and decent place for breakfast. I had a pretty fair breakfast. My complaints are that it's overpriced, the potatoes were not hash browns, but the small squares type from a frozen bag, tasteless. The toast comes very dry, with whipped butter in a side dish so the toast is cold and tasteless and dry. Butter should be on the toast and served warm. The coffee is rotten. Community club brand, I think. It's the real reason I won't go back as the coffee was the deal breaker . Bad brand, bitter , and lousy. I would switch brands if I owned the place as I'm a Starbucks or seattle's best type coffee drinker. Overall , a fair breakfast but nothing great.

    (3)
  • Samantha C.

The veggie omelette with the goat cheese blew me away. Seriously one of the best I've ever had. Pancakes were just as good, and they actually burnt my bacon the way I asked them to, delicious and breaking apart.

    (5)
  • Bryan L.

Didn't live up to the hype. After the 30 min wait to get in the door, and another 45 min wait for our food, we were ready to eat. The coffee tasted week and The server forgot to ring in our biscuit beignets hut gave them to us tor free. There are plenty of other options in this area with better breakfast at a lower price. My personal fav is Andy flour poweR. So if you have lots of time to kill and money to burn, and a burning desire for mediocre food than I recommend you stop in and check this place ouT

  • Daniel W.

Great food and reasonable prices. Especially enjoyed the "Skinny Omelette" for 9.99 - "Herbed egg whites with blanched asparagus, roasted red peppers, green onions, goat cheese and roasted garlic cloves served with an English muffin & fresh fruit." (I substituted whole wheat bread for the English muffin) Appreciated that the menu has a section called "the Healthy Side" for health-conscious eaters!

Stopped by on the way out of town. Don't remember exactly what I had, but I remember enjoying it a lot.

  • Shawn M.

Too rich for us. Managed to spend $56 on breakfast (BREAKFAST) for 2 people. Every item is expensive. Had a two pancake breakfast; they tasted exactly like McDonalds hot cakes. One small sausage. In fact, it was all very much like the McD Big Breakfast, only 4x the cost. Hash browns salty & boring. Like another reviewer pointed out, the toast is cold and dry. I didn't mind the coffee. My wife did very much enjoy her crab cakes benedict. Try The Egg And I, way better food & value.

    (2)
  • Mark O.

Crabcakes are excellent, service was great also!

  • Kristen R.

Ate breakfast twice here when on vacation. The food is a little pricy, but you get plenty of food for your money and when you are talking taste, it is well worth the price. Many good menu items, but the Cinnamon French Toast absolutely melts in your mouth. It is topped with cream cheese frosting of some sort and then beautiful berries. We had a Brie with a chutney type topping for an appetizer. I highly highly recommend this! Our waitresses were so sweet and helpful when it came to ordering. Love this place!!

    (5)
  • Matt A.

Great service and a wide variety on the menu have ensured that I eat here tomorrow. The eggs were done over medium, which seems to be difficult to do where I live. I also like the ceramic tea mugs. Another gem of Panama City Beach.

Up front I'd give this restaurant a 3-3.5. 4.5 for food and 2.5 for service. Food first, banana foster was amazing and my wife loved her giant cinnamon role and pancakes. Service secondly; after putting in our name for a party of five we were told the wait time. While sitting there waiting we watched party after party come in and be seated before us (parties anywhere from 4-6 people). After waiting well above our given wait time I asked how much longer it would be and was given a very rude response from the hostess. Shocked by her attitude I then told her she'd sat many ahead of us to which I was told it won't be much longer. My conclusion, they didn't seem to be very kid friendly so maybe they were trying to sit us somewhere they wanted. My daughter is very well behaved and usually gets complimented on how well she does at places but I guess they want to assume before actually seeing so. Good food though.

    (3)
  • J G.

Very good southern crab stack and cinnamon roll French toast. Average biscuits and gravy. Open 7-2 daily. The place is busy due to good food and atmosphere.

    (4)
  • A. R.

I had the Chez B omelette and they were able to serve with egg whites only. It was so good and the portions were quite large. I did think it was a little higher priced than what it should have been, but otherwise very good. I love that they had wifi and a bar for brunch cocktails.

Most delicious service. I roll up in here almost daily, the staff is friendly and familiar, the menu is good, i eat all my plate, i leave blowin' kisses to everyone

  • Jeff L.

Was very disappointed on our LAST visit to Another Broken Egg in PCB. The menu has changed and the favorite item Castine was not available anymore. My wife always wanted to eat there just for that. The coffee was to strong. Now we will be skipping this place.

  • Patrick K.

A friendly atmosphere, and a staff that makes you feel welcome helps put Another Broken Egg above any competition in the breakfast department. The eggs blackstone were great, though I wish they asked how I preferred my eggs (runny vs not) but that didn't detract from the meal too much. The coffee was good, not great. They're open 0700 - 1400 daily. Check them out if you're looking for a solid breakfast/brunch option.

  • Renee A.

I LOVED the menu for this place, LOVED my omelette with avocado and chorizo, but the kitchen was really slow, like half hour, 35 minutes between ordering and food. And they were not very busy. So I would say, definitely go eat here, the food is amazing! But have some time on your hands to hang out and chat with friends!

Really nice brunch, no rush, nice service and both our plates were great. We plan to go back.

    (5)
  • Melissa M.

Eat here every week but the service is very slow and not equivalent to the prices. However the food is good and there are limited places for a sit down breakfast in the area. Be prepared to wait.

Great food and great atmosphere.. this is out of the way from the crowds a local restaurant you will make a regular for breakfast..

  • Douglass M.

We had a delicious family brunch on the patio. We were waited on by several severs and the food was very good. Biggest drawback is the restaurant is located in a strip mall with very few other shops....appears to be very vacant. Overall a very enjoyable experience with a tasty veggie wrap.

  • William S.

This is the place for breakfast. Their scramblers are wonderful. The omelets are excellent. The service is very prompt, important when you are eating on the patio.

Another Broken Egg has become something we look forward to when we stay in Florida for the weekend. The atmosphere is really nice & inviting - there has been a huge line with a 20-30 min wait every time we have gone. We live someplace with very few breakfast options so Another Broken Egg seems egg-straordinary (har-har) compared to what we are used to these days. Service staff is friendly and efficient, everything we have had has been really tasty - they have somewhat out of the ordinary choices if you like to try new things! ps i really dont like the coffee here..very bitter and I usually pass and then grab a coffee elsewhere afterwards

    (4)
  • James B.

The atmosphere and decor were excellent. The service was good. My wife had the Lobster omelet. It was very good. I had the crab cake Benedict. It was just ok. It was supposed to be lump crab (more breading than crab no lump). Restaurants have to stop saying lump crab if they're just going drag the crab through it!

  • Amy C.

Such a cute place! We arrived and were told we'd have to wait about half an hour/forty minutes for a table, but we were seated in 15-20 minutes. The coffee wasn't spectacular, but our waitress was. She was extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The omelettes looked wonderful, but I stuck to the classic eggs-toast-hash browns-meat combination, and they were great. Thank you for a wonderful start to a great vacation, Another Broken Egg.

I walked in and stood in front if the hostess stand. There were 2 women there neither ever said a word to me. I walked to the bar and sat down. After a few minutes, a waitress finally handed me a menu. She said she would get my waitress. 10 min later I was still waiting so I walked out. I would think with the Economy the way it is, restaurants would bend over backwards to get and keep customers. Guess not.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. This restaurant came highly recommended from a few friends of ours as a "must visit" for an early breakfast or a late brunch during our visit. There was no wait and we were seated immediately. The hostess, as well as the rest of the staff we interacted with (including the gentleman cleaning off the tables and collecting dishes) were friendly and happy to be there. The restaurant manager visited every single table (including ours) while we were dining and ensured that their customers enjoyed their visits...which to me, is RARE! My husband and I both got the same dishes (the Cinnamon Bun French Toast) and it was to die for (see uploaded photos for a snapshot of the dish)! We also shared a side plate of bacon and their fried potatoes, which were also exquisite. Their coffee was very tasty (side note: I'm a coffee snob) and the prices were affordable. This is most definitely a new favorite for us and we WILL return each and every time we visit :)

Some places become tradition and this is one. When in Panama City Beach we always do Sunday brunch here. It is just a given. Great food. Interesting menu. Friendly staff. What more is there to say. If you arrive during a rush and have to wait a bit, it is worth the wait. If it wasn't any good, there wouldn't be a line. Duh...

After a night of partying nothing beats a good breakfast. This place was awesome. Easy to find and the place itself was very nice and a great atmosphere. I was quickly seated and helped right away. Started off with a bloody mary and ended up choosing the garden delight omelette. It had mushroom tomato and spinach with a side of country potatoes along with an english muffin. The food was amazing! The server recommended this pepper sauce for the potatoes which was like a bbq sauce with a tabasco kick. GREAT CALL! The pricing was reasonable. I would definitely come back.

Thanks fellow Yelpers!! Needing a solid brunch on a lazy Monday, I looked for the highest rated place nearby. This little joint came up on my Yelp search, and they didn't disappoint! Taking advantage of the warm morning we decided to join the small crowd on the patio. Our served was a sweet and cheerful lady, eager to help us and quick to grab me a cup of joe. The menu was packed with a bounty of choices and while I was tempted to order one of their specialty omelet, I came across their "Specialty Brunches". Everything here looked amazing and I had to ask our waitress to help me choose. Settling on the Lafittes tortilla, I was eager and pleasantly surprised when my meal arrived. The chorizo and chili were a perfect spicy blend and the eggs were paired nicely. Wrapping it all up in a nice flour tortilla with some blended cheese made my morning. The potatoes were a great side and added to the already generous, portions. My only complaint was the tortilla seemed to be a little hard around the edges. We will definitely come back as I have to try one of their quiche's or crab stacks.

So after traveling all around looking for a breakfst place, we find this. They got us seated right away, and we got our food in an instant. It was rather expensive, but good food. I have nothing against this, but really it's nothing different than your average breakfast diner.

Read all the reviews and had to try it out. Maybe they had an off day, but was not impressed. There were about 3 other tables so we were seated immediately, good, then waited about 15 minutes before our drink order was taken. Another 15 minutes before our food order was taken. My eggs benedict were pretty good, but my kids pancakes were like rubber. I would assume they were microwaved after sitting such a long time before our food was brought to us. I don't mind spending $50 for breakfast, but it better be awesome, this WAS NOT.

love, love, love the breakfast/brunch here. and they serve it til 2 in the afternoon. some of the best bloodies on the beach, or anywhere. Have been here 3 times & always enjoyed it. The coffee is "Community" brand coffee, and something of a gulf coast acquired taste. They have several breakfast selections with crawfish in them, which always seem to call me. French toast is also wonderful. Sweetie generally orders "man breakfast" of two overlights, bacon or sausage & toast, and cleans the plate, so I assume it's good even though it's rather ordinary. Lots of "out of the ordinary" to choose from on their menu. We usually try to stop here at least once while we're in town and will keep on coming back.

For those of you that know me I travel a lot and I've had the opportunity and pleasure to enjoy some fantastic food along the way. But until I visited this restaurant I don't think I've ever had a true five star breakfast experience. This restaurant absolutely has the best breakfast selection I've ever seen on any menu, so unique, so gourmet, so exquisite there really aren't enough words to describe this gem and to find it in Panama City was quite a surprise. We stopped in a little after 7:00 AM on Friday morning there were a few cars in the parking lot but the place looked large enough we figured if there was a wait it would be minimum. As we approached the hostess station the restaurant actually appeared to be mostly empty so we were seated immediately and introduced to Dustin our server. Dustin is very outgoing and very enthusiastic for it only being 7:00 AM, he welcomed us to the restaurant and answered any questions we had as he presented us with the menus and immediately went and got our coffee. As we opened the menus we were both amazed at the selections and just ignored the prices because no matter the price one look at the menu we knew we weren't going anywhere. I must admit I was impressed that they offer appetizers at breakfast and the appetizer selection was distracting us from making our breakfast selections so we ordered the "monster cinnamon roll" for an appetizer to split while we continue to drool over the breakfast entrees. Although I pride myself with having a little culture I was a little over-whelmed since I'm so tradition when it comes to the first meal of the day. We finally made our minds up just before the appetizer arrived, understand now that Dustin was very attentive but also very patient he never rush us he made a few recommendations but never made us feel rushed it was almost like having a meal in Europe, we could of sat there for hours and I don't think the pressure to turn tables is even a consideration here it's definitely about the customer having a great experience. This is so rare these days that you almost feel guilty if you don't shovel your food down and rush out the door but there's no pressure from the staff this would be self inflicted if you did that. So this "monster" cinnamon roll arrives on a china plate it's piping hot and massive and drenched in some of the best cream cheese icing that ever touched my lips, fresh from the oven light and fluffy definitely prepared by an artisan baker. I was fearful that this just might spoil my appetite but it was so light that it basically melted in your mouth and dissolved before you could chew it. I've never eaten anything like it before that was called a cinnamon roll. My tradition breakfast - Two eggs over medium no grease, oil or butter present on the plate eggs perfectly done the white completely cooked the yolk soft and running perfect for dipping the fresh sourdough toast that was lightly spread with a little whipped butter served with a slice of premium ham grilled to perfection tender and moist, add in a side of crispy fresh cut fried potatoes and there you have it a truly remarkable but simple breakfast. Her Southwest scramble was filled with fresh cut veggies folded into two fresh eggs and blended with perfectly seasoned chorizo sausage and capped with a white Mexican cheese and cheddar mix that was begging to be rolled in a fresh warm tortilla covered in salsa and pairs with the crispy fried potatoes. Magnificently done chef. Not only is the food exceptional and the service impeccable the value is here as well as the quality we definitely will return here when in the area.

We chose this place as our first breakfast on a recent stay in Panama City Beach. We arrived around 9am on a Saturday and although the restaurant was busy, there was not yet a wait. I've had Another Broken Egg a few times before and it's a chain restaurant so you almost know exactly what to expect. I was pretty hungry so I ordered the steak and eggs, which includes a 4 oz sirloin, 2 eggs, potatoes, and an English muffin. This was....a lot of food!!! But also, it was very tasty. My steak, ordered medium, was perfectly cooked and deliciously seasoned, along with everything else on the plate. Not exactly a light fare option, but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Service was top notch as well. The only gripe I have about this place is the coffee isn't the best. Otherwise, great breakfast/brunch choice in PCB!

Very good! We got there right when it opened and had great service. I really enjoyed my omelet. The fried green tomatoes were great as well.

Great place for a beach breakfast. I got the Popeye Scrambler and would definitely order again. Service was great - thanks Jen for making sure we had a full cup of coffee and water at all times. The food was delivered timely and met all expectations. Will be back!

Not bad. Food was good. Menu was was a bit fancy for me. Couldn't get a traditional eggs, meat and potatoes. Menu was full of pancakes and specialty omelets (which were good). Breakfasts were priced $10-$14.

Wonderful food! My family came to Panama Beach for a very needed vacation. After much consideration, we decided to visit this restaurant and it was the best decision of the day. I had the Popeye's Scramble, yum yum. My son had the Hawaiian French Toast which were amazing. My husband had the Black Bean Eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was great. I'm giving 4 stars only because of the service which was below average in my opinion.

The food and service were both great! I had the cinnamon french toast (the bananas foster sauce was to die for) and my boyfriend had a belgian waffle-- and both were amazing. The menu has options for every person and you really can't go wrong. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

I always end up here at least once on each trip I take to the Panama City Area. I'm not usually a creature of habit, but I cannot tear myself away from their Floridian omelette. It's a cream cheese and chive omelette topped with crabmeat. It normally comes with a side of potatoes, but I have started opting for the fresh fruit. I've also decided to be totally indulgent and get their chocolate milk topped with whipped cream, and their hot chocolate is great as well. They are always crowded, but if you're just a couple, it normally doesn't take more than 20 minutes. Trust me, it's worth the wait. We have a location in Homewood, but I have yet to visit it, but now I'm craving that Floridan omelette, so....

This was my second time eating at one of the Another Broken Egg restaurants and the food was great, just as expected. The wait was a little longer than we hoped for to get a table but service after getting a table was excellent. Jennifer was awesome and kept our glasses full with ice and beverages which made the scorching day bearable. Will most definitely eat here again.

My sweet potato pancakes were amazing!! We waited a while for the food though but once it came I was happy with the quality. We wanted something better than IHOP and we found it! The food was fresh, warm, and yummy. ONce we asked abut the food after waiting it came right out. The servers were friendly and attentive.

We come here every Sunday morning for breakfast/brunch. It's probably the best american breakfast in the city. Steak and eggs is pretty damn Good for 12$. The coffee is really strong and bold I always get a few cups. They have a bar which offers bloody Mary's & mimosas @ early hours :D

Fabulous, busy, quality breakfast place! I came for their extensive Benedict menu. Crab cake benedict was stellar! All crab, no cake, hollandaise is scratch made, poached egg was a tad overcooked otherwise would had given the 5th star. For those who are lactose intollerant, they do not do soy milk for your latte. However service was frequent, on point, and full of sunny southern hospitality!! I highly recommend!! Yummy!

Great food, good service, and a good break from greasy spoon in Panama City Beach! Amy was an excellent server and introduced me to a New Orleans omelette with crayfish and sausage. The decor of the place is extremely welcoming and the staff is great.

This is the second time my husband and I have been Another Broken Egg Cafe - once in Destin and now in Panama City. Both times it was outstanding. This morning my husband ordered The Supreme omelet and I ordered the Baked Brie Delight. Portions are very generous! The Baked Brie was a combination of apples, pecans and raisins sauteed in a Grand Marnier butter sauce and served warm over Brie with toasted French bread. It was delish! Apples were tender but still had a little crunch - the sauce was a perfect combination and was not overkill. My husband's omelet was served in a cast iron skillet and full of flavor. Not your average breakfast! To boot, I had a Ketel One Bloody Mary made with house infused Mary mix. Only thing I would have changed was to add green olives. A must if you are in the area. Go early if you want to avoid a wait.

It's a go to place for us when down in PCB...everything we have had so far has been excellent, and the portions are huge, so I'd suggest splitting dishes if you don't want leftovers to carry around. The Lobster Brie omelette is amazing, as is the Huevos Rancheros. The coffee is great, and so are the Bloody Mary's. Staff has always been friendly. A must if you want a great breakfast/brunch.

The best breakfast I've ever had! Great food with a gluten allergy accomodation. My husband & I went here on our hotels recommendation & we have zero complaints. Fluffy eggs, great country potatoes & the best gluten free pancakes ever!! This restaurant is definately a 10 in my book!!!

So good. Ordered hey Lucy because avocado that's why. It was delicious the English muffin it came with delicious. My husband ordered the southwest and yup you guessed it delicious. Also ordered a latte. Potatoes could have used some seasoning. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food came out fast. Hot sauce on table was really good tasty though not really spicy at all. All in all totally recommend. Not crazy expensive between 10-15 a plate.

Food was excellent, my server wasn't, my receipt said her name was christina p, my brother ordered French toast and it took her 10min to get him the syrup, she kept saying sorry and was super sweet but she was very forgetful, coulda just been an off day for her but she wasn't that busy, we would ask her for water or another drink or more butter and she would forget but we would look and see her in the back by the bar just talking away, she was never rude and always apologized but after the 4th time of having to ask it got pretty annoying

Visited here off peak in late September and arrived soon after opening in the morning. Noticed how clean and well maintained it was the moment we walked in. The decor is very welcoming and homey and nicely done. Some of their light fixtures have "broken eggs" cut into them. We were greeted by our server Will who was extremely personable and a very attentive server. I ordered the the Stans #1 Omelette (egg white version) which has crawfish, shrimp, ham, cheddar cheese and mushrooms. My daughter ordered the Belgium Waffle Combo with scrambled eggs and sausage. The omelette was absolutely one of the best I've ever had and certainly the most unique. It's was loaded with crawfish, shrimp and ham and had just the right amount of cheese. The homemade biscuit and country potatoes were excellent. The biscuit was one of the best I've had in a restaurant as well! My daughter loved her waffle and said the sausage (looks to be homemade as well) was very different tasting but she said it was really good! I'm soooooo glad we found this place on our first morning here. This will be the only breakfast spot for us for the rest of our trip. It's just an excellent place to start the day! Make sure you ask for Will as he will not disappoint you and just adds to the overall excellent experience!

Many unique dishes to choose from you won't find anywhere else. Food quality and presentation is what you would expect from fine dining but with a casual atmosphere. Hostess and all servers very friendly attentive and accommodating. Hardest part was choosing what to order.

This place was amazing. I checked out the menu and the pictures here on yelp and decided to give it a try. It was so good we came back the very next day! Both of our servers (William and Amy) made excellent recommendations and no one was disappointed. In our two visits, I had the Crab Stack, the Biscuit Beignets, and the Shrimp and grits. The crab stack was excellent, the biscuit beignets were amazing, a good twist on the classic (and we've got a Louisiana native in the group) and the shrimp and grits were really good too. My friends had the supreme omelette (twice, he said it was heaven and literally started singing a church song), the Popeyes scramble, the cinnamon roll French toast (it was gone before I could even ask to try it), the regular French toast combo, and the southern shrimp salad. Everyone was full and satisfied. The only minor complaint I have is that the breakfast potatoes were a little too salty for my taste personally, but it's so minor that I feel like they still deserve 5 stars. I've been recommending this place to anyone who asks!

I visited here based on other yelp reviews. This restaurant is well decorated, plenty of seating, and my waiter was very knowledgable of menu items. My boyfriend and I had the southwest scramble and the southern crab stack. Both items so savory and filling. The wait for our meals took awhile but it was worth it.

We usually love ABE.....today though, waitress Jennifer lowered our rating. Unfriendly, she seemed unhappy to be there. No offer to refill my coffee. She asked if we wanted more water, we said yes only to never receive the refill. Not a pleasant experience. Needless to say, she didn't receive our usual 20+ % gratuity.

Very good breakfast. Kinda like first watch with their fresh ingredients and well made meals. No greasy spoon here. Enjoyed outside on patio. Awesome omelettes! Delish all around.

A cozy cafe, decently decorated in a nice plaza. However, they are extremely expensive, with the average breakfast costing about $13.99 + $2.50 for a cup of coffee. My problem wasn't with the price, I'm perfectly willing to spend $15 on a good meal, however, my food came out from the kitchen COLD. Cold food, cold plate. I ordered Huevos Rancheros, which should have arrived hot. After taking a bite I set the plate aside and the waitress asked about the food. I explained that my meal was cold and she took it to the kitchen. The manager came out and apologized. I then received my bill, for $32.00, my plate that I never got to eat and my wife's. They didn't replace the meal and they still charged me for it! Outrageous! The waitress was quick to rush us out at that point. Did we make a scene? No, we sat quietly enjoying our $32 coffee. There are a lot of breakfast choices in PCB, I'd recommend any of them rather than this place.

You are going to think it is awfully expensive for a breakfast. Don't be put off by the prices on the menu. Throw caution to the wind and order your heart's desire. You won't be disappointed. I had a crab/lobster omelette. It was filled with meat and cream cheese. The grits were also creamy, thick and obviously prepared with milk, not water. I mean, the kind of grits you hear about but seldom experience. There were bread choices but the default is an English muffin. Perfectly crispy and chewy. They also sell their signature hand-made pottery coffee mugs- ridiculously priced at $18. Yes, I had to get one anyway. Every time I drink my morning coffee from it, I reminisce about grits and cream-cheese and crab omelettes. We encountered a group of ladies outside as we were leaving- they were studying the menu and experiencing the same sticker shock we had. My husband felt compelled to give them some encouraging words of "worth it" and "must try!

Breakfast-brunch-lunch spot a few rungs up the culinary (and fiscal) ladder from IHoP. Stan's Mardi Gras comprised an omelet - well prepared - filled with a generous amount of seafood and topped with a tomato hollandaise. The hollandaise had nice, sharp acidity that balanced but didn't overpower the eggs and seafood. Very good dish. An English muffin on the side was fine. 'Mediterranean potatoes', unfortunately, were inedible - a fine reminder of why we don't overcook potatoes in olive oil, with burnt onion strings and some feta. My friend had the regular breakfast potatoes, which were much better: a real case of not fixing something that ain't broken, I'd say. Service very friendly and capable but very slow for before 9am on a Sunday with a few empty tables around us. Frankly I preferred my breakfast at Waffle House a day before, at a quarter of the price, but I think the potatoes are clouding my judgement too much because the omelet was very well-prepared. I'll be back to my local location (I wasn't aware it was a chain until I saw the menu.) Free wi-fi is passworded, by the way.

Seems you just cannot go wrong with Another Broken Egg. Food is Wonderful individually made. Service is great. Hard to keep perfectly clean with the high volume. Will most definitely return. Well over I-Hop, Cracker Barrel (which we like) just annoy compare fairly. If you get a chance try Another Broken Egg

First time here...small restaurant so there was a slight wait. Not too bad and well worth it. Great menu selection! I had the Hey Lucy omelette...undoubtedly the best omelette I've ever tasted...and I've been around if you know what I mean! :) Egg, chorizo, onions, green chilis, and AVOCADO...WHAT! Be still my heart! It was great! This may seem lame to talk about the OJ but it seriously tasted freshly squeezed from the orange orchard tucked away in the kitchen.

Great place to go for a beach style breakfast! We had amazing service and the menu was great with so many differ choices it was hard to pick . I chose to go with the eggs Benedict it was very flavorful and the breakfast potatoes where cooked to perfection. Family really enjoyed you should make this place a must.

The girls and I really enjoyed this place. It was a 10-15 minute wait to be seated inside, so we opted to be seated right away outside on the patio. Mind it was the middle of July and scoarching hot. So maybe waiting inside would have been better. But besides that, I ordered an absolut Mary and the girls ordered mimosas. I didnt try it, but my sister said to review it as needing to be more cold, b/c the drink was a bit more warm than it should be. But i really enjoyed my Mary, so that's a must try. Beignets w/the honey marmalade was a great way to start off our meals. Fresh and hot. I ordered the lobster brie cream cheese omlette. I loved it. And the girls ordered gritcakes and classic biscuit and gravy dish. They seemed to enjoy that as well. I recommend this place to go to for a good meal!
